Role overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Growth Marketer to lead our customer acquisition and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in growth marketing, including digital ad buying, data analysis, and funnel optimization. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and long-term loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Lead and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (including paid search, social media, email, and content marketing) to increase brand awareness and drive user growth.
  • Manage ad buying on platforms like Google, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Analyze and interpret data from marketing campaigns to measure performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimize the user journey.
  • Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization across various stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business goals and ensure a consistent brand message across all channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in growth marketing and apply them to our strategies.

Your background might look something like

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing roles.
  • High-growth startup or dynamic environments where you’ve had to drive rapid user acquisition and retention.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, user acquisition, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Proficiency in running and optimizing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other digital channels.
  • Proficiency in data analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Proficiency with social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or X.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing and growth experimentation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.


Nice to have

  • Experience growing your own company or being the first marketing/growth hire and growing someone else’s company.
  • Experience in the automotive or subscription-based service industry.
  • Basic coding skills and the ability to design and build web pages.
  • Experience working in design tools like Figma and Canva to design your own marketing content.

Compensation

$90,000 to $120,000 CAD annual salary to start, depending on the experience and skill of the candidate, with the opportunity for raises based on performance.

Application process

The application process will take approximately 2-3 weeks and will consist of the following stages:

  1. Phone screen: We’ll spend about 30 minutes getting to know you and answering any questions you have.
  2. Previous work and portfolio review: We’ll spend 60-90 minutes digging into your previous work and experience so you can demonstrate your abilities and knowledge.
  3. In-person culture fit interview and meet the team: You’ll come meet the team so we can get to know you better and you can interact with the people you’ll be building Roam with.
  4. You’re hired!

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
