The Role

We’re looking for a driven, tech-savvy Head of Lead Generation to own and scale acquisition across all our business lines — from subscriptions and leasing to sales and fleet management. You’ll report directly to one of Roam’s co-founders and have a huge amount of autonomy to make decisions and drive results. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll design the playbook, run the campaigns, optimize acquisition funnels and flows, and manage a sizeable budget to hit aggressive growth targets. You’ll be trusted to oversee the marketing and lead gen P+L, test new channels and tactics, and build growth systems that help Roam scale into new business lines and across Canada.


What You’ll Do

  • Build acquisition funnels for all business lines and customer segments.
  • Increase consumer and business lead volumes while maintaining or reducing CAC.
  • Run and optimize paid campaigns across platforms (Google, Meta, YouTube, etc.).
  • Test new channels and tactics to diversify acquisition mix.
  • Design and build high-converting landing pages.
  • Implement reporting processes to track and share performance.
  • Support the sales team with outbound motion, tactics, and materials.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–6 years of experience in growth, demand generation, or marketing.
  • Proven track record of scaling lead generation profitably.
  • Highly tech-savvy, you're comfortable learning and implementing new tech and tools on your own.
  • Proficient in AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and using them daily in a growth, lead gen, or marketing context.
  • Ability to write code is a huge plus.
  • Skilled at campaign planning, ad creation, and conversion and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable designing your own creatives - from ads to web pages to emails and more.
  • Comfortable with CRM customization (HubSpot) and automation tools (Customer.io).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in attribution and analytics platforms (Segment, Mixpanel).
  • Strategic thinker who executes quickly and independently.
  • Traits: scrappy, action-oriented, optimistic, thick-skinned, curious, and driven.

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
